Chantal is French, fluent in English and is passionate about teaching and meeting people who want to learn French. She has a Batchelor of Education from the University of Tasmania. She has taught French for 20 years in Australia and 3 years in Dubai.
This residential course is aimed at encouraging people to learn French in France, immersing people in the French culture and offering an exciting and enriching experience for the francophiles who live in the region or who are on holiday.

The programme
The aim is to offer you the skills and knowledge to be able to communicate comfortably in French.
Lessons are normally arranged in the morning or afternoon. Refreshments, tea and coffee are served throughout the lessons.
We can help you learn French while discovering the village of Les Eyzies and its history. We can meet you at a local restaurant for Lunch, or have a coffee somewhere nearby. There are many cafes and restaurants, and shops within walking distance of Tayac.
Immersing yourself into daily life in France, engaging with the locals are the best ways to become fluent in French.
Monday morning is market day in Les Eyzies so why not walk to the market, enjoy the atmosphere, maybe buy some fresh food for your lunch and your stay in the cottage or the B&B. We will come with you and help you with conversing in French!
We are happy to recommend and book any activities for you. We can also help you with hiring a bike or a car.
Local guides are available.
Picnic hampers can be prepared if booked in advance.
You can sample local delicacies in the main residence.
Available lessons and rates
Weekly courses
300 € per person
We offer a package of 10 hours of French tuition per week. The lessons can be arranged from Monday to Friday.
The focus is on communication. Grammar is explained in English or in French depending on your level and competence. Remember, you are here to learn French and have fun too!
Private lessons
45€ per person per hour
Individual lessons are available. They are tailored to suit your level and your needs. They range from one hour to 2 hours, on a one to one basis, at a time to be arranged. They are flexible and structured to your interests.
They can be in addition to your classes or for those who live in the region or are on holiday and want to upgrade their knowledge of French and better communicate with the locals.
Book your lesson
You will be encouraged to speak French as much as possible with your hosts and the locals. Our aim is to build your confidence in using the language in everyday situations. The classes are small – max 3 people per class.
